Breastfeeding Support

"What is rarely admitted or discussed in the UK is that improving breastfeeding rates is not the responsibility of individual women struggling alone in a culture that is often hostile towards breastfeeding – rather that this is a public health imperative for which government, policy makers, communities and families all share responsibility."
UNICEF Call to Action 2016
All pregnant and breastfeeding mums are welcome to come along to our friendly and relaxed support groups.
It is a good idea to get in touch with the support group contact person in case the times of the meetings have changed.

For information on groups across Scotland and more information on breastfeeding, look on the Scottish government infant feeding website.

For information on specialist breastfeeding clinics, speak to your midwife or health visitor.
Check out our section on breastfeeding websites and helplines for more support too.
