The symptoms of a food allergy can develop within a few seconds or minutes after consuming food or
drink, or can appear hours or days later. In very rare cases, people may experience an anaphylactic reaction which can be life-threatening. More details about allergy symptoms may be found on the NHS Choices 'Information on Allergies' website. If long term symptoms persist, seek medical advice from your GP or HV who can advise you further in managing the symptoms.
If you think your Baby is experiencing anaphylaxis, dial 999.
