Support for professionals working with carers

To support staff and professionals working with, or on behalf of, carers an Edinburgh Carer Network has been set up. This network has two key aims:

  • To access up to date information about support, developments and issues affecting carers
  • To facilitate opportunitites to work together in partnership with other members

It operates mainly through regular e-mail updates with meetings held three times a year. The Edinburgh Carer Network shares up to date information through the NHS Knowledge Network and you can access this information page here http://www.knowledge.scot.nhs.uk/ishare/edinburgh-carers-network.aspx.

The Network is free to join and a membership form can be downloaded here.
