Welcome to Scottish Liver Transplant Unit based at the
Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Little France. This Unit is allied to the Centre for Liver and Digestive Disorders in University
Hospitals Division of NHS Lothian.
The aim of this
site is to provide information for Patients and NHS Staff about the services provided within the Unit.
Transplant Team 2011
On the 9th January 2012, the Transplant Units at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, marked the 1,000th Liver and Kidney transplant. Image show the staff of both Liver and Renal Transplant teams.
News:
On the 18th of November 2012, the Scottish Liver Transplant Unit will be celebrating it's 20th anniversary at Murryfield Stadium.
