Lothian Enhanced Services

Enhanced services are contracts between Lothian Primary Care, community organisations and general practices. Where the general practice team undertakes to provide standardised care in a specific area.

Performance data from practices providing the Drug Misuse National Enhanced Service (NES), Local Enhanced Service Blood Borne Virus (LES BBV) and Alcohol Brief Interventions (ABI) Enhanced Service is received quarterly, and is analysed by the PCFT to allow feedback to practices and other bodies regarding activity and standards of care.
