The information Health Rights Information Scotland (HRIS) had been developing to explain what NHS services overseas visitors can expect to receive during their stay in Scotland is now online. It is available here.

The new series includes the following factsheets:

• Health care for people coming to Scotland to work
• Health care for people coming to Scotland to study
• Health care for asylum seekers and refugees in Scotland
• Health care in Scotland for former UK residents now working abroad
• Health care in Scotland for UK passport holders living abroad
• Health care for UK pensioners visiting Scotland

Key stakeholders we consulted with when developing this information advised this should be available electronically and printed off locally. With this in mind, we chose a simple design for the factsheets.
