The Harm Reduction Team(HRT) provides a number of services from the Spittal Street Centre. We offer drop in needle exchange and provide a number of outreach services for those injecting heroin. The team also provides a daily methadone prescribing service for more chaotic opiate users who have shown some motivation for change. As well as this the team offers condoms mostly through the c:card service which has key points throughout Lothian. We also provide a service for men who have sex with men, running an evening drop in clinic and other outreach facilities.
