In an emergency, you should contact your GP, NHS24 on 08454 24 24 24 or phone the Royal Edinburgh Hospital switchboard on 0131 537 6000 and ask to be put through to the on call Specialist Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the Mental Health Assessment Service.

What is CAMHS?

CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. These services work with children and young people and their parents or carers.
