Car Parking and Traffic Management

A key part of the works on site has been on improving the traffic management.

This has ranged from the creation of a new bus hub at the east side of the hospital which transferred in April 2014 and improvements to the road layout and cycle path network, to the closure of Little France Crescent in front of the Emergency Department.

Our main priority is to ensure that patients and those coming to visit them can park in close proximity spaces at the hospital.

Car park F has been purpose built to provide staff parking on the site, replacing the spaces hat have been lost with the closures of car park B and car park E.

Every effort will be made to ensure that patients, visitors and staff are made aware of traffic management changes in advance.
