Cleft Surgical Services Proposal:
NHS Scotland's National Services Division (NSD) is responsible for commissioning and performance managing national screening programmes, specialist clinical services and national Managed Clinical Networks on behalf of NHSScotland.
The NSD is consulting on proposed changes to the nationally designated Cleft Surgical Services for NHSScotland. Public consultation runs from 11 February to 11 May 2016.
The proposed change to a single surgical service on one site at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow aims to provide a safe, resilient and sustainable cleft surgical service that provides a quality service for all patients with a cleft of the lip and/or palate wherever they live in NHS Scotland.
Here is more information on the proposal.
