Lothian NHS Board

Lothian NHS Board is responsible for investing approximately £1 billion a year in health care services. Its main role is to protect and improve the health of the people of Lothian and plan services for the local population.

In this work, NHS Lothian is committed to forging effective links with all its partners in care, such as patients, staff, local communities and excluded groups, so that their needs and views are placed at the heart of the design and delivery of local health services.

The Lothian NHS Board meets every second month. All Board meetings to be held at the Scottish Health Service Centre, Western General Hospital, Crewe Road South, Edinburgh EH4 2LF.  The meetings are open to the press and public, and anyone with an interest in the discussions is welcome to attend.  The meetings start at 9.30am.

The exception is the meeting to be held on 5 December 2018 which will be held in the Chancellor's Building, 49 Little France Crescent, Edinburgh, EH16 4SB.
