Midlothian Community Health Partnership (CHP) launch new website

The launch event will allow members of the local community to meet with the Midlothian CHP team and learn more about local healthcare services.

Guests attending the launch will be given a demonstration and an opportunity to interact with the new website to view information about local healthcare and social services.

Talking about the event Gerry Power, General Manager, Midlothian CHP said:

"We are delighted that members of the local community have accepted our invitation to meet with key members of the CHP team.
"The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the CHP and its new website which provides details on all the healthcare services available to the people of Midlothian.
"We have a number of future developments planned for Midlothian, such as a new dental service at Bonnyrigg, a new Dalkeith Medical Centre and the new hospital. We want to ensure local people are kept informed at every stage of these developments. We hope this event is the start of this information sharing process.
"I hope those attending will find the event both informative and enjoyable."

The launch will host a range of information stands on healthcare services provided by the CHP. Healthcare professionals will be on hand to offer more detailed information about the services available.

The information stands will include details on the Midlothian substance misuse service, community mental health services, sexual health promotion, Midlothian health promotion service, Midlothian public partnership forum and the Midlothian community hospital.

The new Midlothian CHP information leaflets and booklet will also be distributed on the day.
