The cafe is open 7 days / 365 although at certain holiday times opening hours may vary a little. Christmas Bookings now being taken.


Book your CHRISTMAS "DO" at COMAS - good value and for a good cause. Meals are available at the Serenity Cafe ( alcohol free) or at the Story Cafe which has a license and is ready to rock!

The Posh Meal is £12 and the Traditional one is £8.

Christmas meals will be served from 18th November in:

The Serenity Cafe: 7 days a week afternoon and evenings during the festive period OR

The Story Cafe ( on the Royal Mile) weekday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.

Our Christmas Lunch for community members is on Christmas Day again this year 12 - 4pm. bookings@comas.org.uk for referrals ( recovery/recovering sober lunch).

They are open every day through Christmas and New Year.

Serenity Hogmany will bring in the bells again with a family friendly bach 7.30pm to 1pm, for group bookings email bookings@comas.org.uk

 

Lastly, CLUB NIGHTS CLUB NIGHTS are the last Friday of every month. Come along to one of our new LIVE MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT NIGHTS. Drug and alcohol free entertainment families welcome.
Cafe open from 7pm for supper. Music/other usually starts at 8pm till late.
Tickets unwaged £4 or waged £6 ( kids go free)

 THE SOLACE RECOVERY CAFE in SOUTH WEST EDINBURGH

Find out about the new recovery groups each week including acupuncture, women's group, prepare and social activities.

STARFISH RECOVERY CAFE - every Friday, 11am - 2pm, St Michael's Church Hall, 21A Dalrymple Loan, MUSSELBURGH.

Come in and join the cafe for a yummy selection of hot and cold food, home-made soups, teas, coffees and cold drinks, home baking and much, much more. All at reasonable prices. The cafe is open to all for both sit-in and take-aways.

NEW STARFISH COMMUNITY COOK CLUB - learn cookery skills by helping to prepare a 2 course meal or come along just for the food and a blether with others.  This club meets every Wednesday 11am to 1pm at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 17a Newbigging Musselburgh EH21 7AJ. This is  a joint venture initiative between STARFISH RECOVERY CAFE and the CYRENIANS. It runs every week, no need to sign up just come along.

NEW HORIZONS RECOVERY CAFE - Dalkeith Baptist Church, 8 N Wynd, Dalkeith, EH22 1JE. The cafe is open every Friday 10am - 3pm. It is the first Recovery Cafe in MIdlothian, it is a safe, clean, sober and recovery focussed environment that all people of a similar mind are welcome to come. The cafe is run and operated by people in recovery or affected by addiction. A programme of upcoming events is listed below:

12 noon - 3pm cafe open for hot food

A Training Course for FAMILY MEMBERS or FRIENDS who are concerned about the drink or drug behaviour of someone else.

Are you worried about someone's drinking or drug use?

These courses are offered through a partnership between Lothian Alcohol Problems Service and VOCAL Family Support Service.Open to family members or friends who are concerned about the drink or drug behaviour of someone else. The coursees usually run on 3 consecutive Courses run at regular intervals usually on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm – 8pm at VOCAL Carers Centre 8-13 Johnston Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2PW.
