artists impression musselburgh primary care centreConstruction of the Musselburgh Primary Care Centre (MPCC) is well underway and on schedule to open its doors in spring 2012. Many of the services currently provided at Edenhall Hospital will relocate there. The new facility will provide a ‘one stop’ service offering a wider range of services and improved access under one roof. 
 
It will allow for the development of improved accommodation for three GP practices, out-patients, and a range of therapy services for adults and children, improving local access in line with Lothian’s Children and Young People’s Health Strategy and assisting in the modernisation of older people’s services and mental health services across East Lothian. 
 
Fundamentally, it will bring together primary care and associated community services in one central location to service the Musselburgh population.
